The South Carolina Philharmonic has appointed SAMANTHA BRESKE as marketing and public relations director. In addition, the orchestra announced two promotions: AMY BINGHAM moves from development assistant to audience services director, and KARLY SHORTER from education coordinator to education director.

Samantha Breske has worked in the non-profit, for-profit, and performing arts sectors, including as casting director for the American Theater Company in Chicago, marketing director of Nashville’s Adventure Science Center, and as a client relations manager for Vineyard Vines by Oak Hall. She is also a classically trained violinist. At the South Carolina Philharmonic, she will work to strengthen audience-building and to increase the visibility of its education and outreach programs. Breske received a bachelor of music in music business and a bachelor of fine arts in theater (administration emphasis) from Millikin University, and a masters of arts management degree (digital marketing emphasis) from Carnegie Mellon University. She studied music at the Royal College of Music in London.
