On March 23, women from the St. Louis Symphony Orchestra will perform music by women composers at a free concert. SLSO musicians Kristin Ahlstrom, Andrea Jarrett, Shannon Farrell Williams, Anne Fageburg, Jennifer Nitchman, Diana Haskell, and Felicia Foland, and pianists Nina Ferrigno Andrew and Kelly Karamov will perform music by Fanny Mendelssohn, Nadia Boulanger, and Kristin Kuster; Kuster will be at the concert to introduce her own works. The concert is part of the orchestra’s free hourlong community concerts at Powell Hall on Fridays at 7 p.m. with themes focusing on diversity, inclusion, and music education advocacy.
