Hartford Symphony plans free concerts in Asylum Hill neighborhood

Musicians from Connecticut’s Hartford Symphony Orchestra will perform two free Wednesday community concerts in May and June at Liam E. McGee Memorial Park, in Hartford’s Asylum Hill neighborhood. The Hartford Symphony Orchestra Jazz Quartet will perform on May 23 (rain date May 25), and the Hartford Symphony Orchestra Brass Quintet will perform on June 6 (rain date June 8) at noon. The free concerts, which have been held since 2014, are open to the public, with food and drink available for purchase. The concerts are co-presented with The Hartford, the investment and insurance company.
