The Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra Board of Directors has named MARY PALMER president for a two-year term. After serving as professor of music education and dean of the University of Central Florida College of Education, Palmer is now UCF professor and dean emerita. She has served as president of professional organizations including the National Association for Music Education Southern Division; VSA Arts of Florida; Florida Music Educators Association; and the Florida Alliance for Arts Education.
