The League of American Orchestras encourages its members to follow best practices in preventing sexual misconduct and in responding to claims. Toward this end, the League has posted resources for harassment prevention and response in the orchestral workplace here.

Resources include information, articles, and links to evidence-based methods for preventing harassment; training, policies, and protocols from the Society for Human Resources Management; and a comprehensive set of guidelines from the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. A private discussion group at the League of American Orchestras’ online League 360 platform offers executive directors, human resources personnel, and finance staff a forum in which to share questions, ideas, and resources (League member password required).
