The Las Vegas Philharmonic has announced the appointment of LACEY HUSZCZA as executive director. She assumes the post on December 1, 2018. Huszcza has spent the past thirteen years in multiple roles at the Los Angeles Chamber Orchestra, in charge of initiatives in fundraising, community outreach, patron engagement, and strategic partnerships and programs. She also served as the organization’s interim managing director for a period in 2015. Huszcza holds an MBA from Pepperdine in addition to bachelor’s degrees in music and communication from the University of Colorado. She currently serves on the board for the Association of California Symphony Orchestras and recently completed a term as vice president of the board, helping to lead the organization’s strategic planning process. Huszcza served on the board for MBA Women Los Angeles from 2012 to 2016 (president, 2013-2016; director of professional development, 2012-2013). At the Las Vegas Philharmonic, Huszcza will work with Board President Jeri Crawford and Music Director Donato Cabrera.
