JOHN L. MALCOLM IV has been named to the newly created position of chief technology officer at the Cleveland Institute of Music. He will be responsible for providing leadership and management for all aspects of information technology at CIM. Malcolm most recently held the position of director, information technology/technology security officer of the Cleveland-based Positive Education Program, where he modernized systems in multiple school locations. He was vice president of government solutions at CoCENTRIX, and has served in technology leadership positions including vice president of dynamics practice with the Mid-America Consulting Group and information systems manager with NAMCO Controls. He earned his bachelor of arts in computer information systems from Youngstown State University.
