The Lexington Symphony in Massachusetts has announced the appointments of JEFF LEVENSON (in photo) as executive director and LAUREN BUSA as operations manager.

Jeff Levenson was previously director of development for the Boston Philharmonic Orchestra and has served as executive director of the San Diego Chamber Orchestra, Pasadena Pops, and Claremont (CA) Community School of Music. He began his career as executive director and artistic administrator of the Kent Blossom Music Festival at Kent State University in Ohio. A cellist, Levenson was a founding member of the Thouvenel Quartet.

Lexington native Lauren Busa is a classically trained soprano and voice teacher who holds a bachelor’s degree in music business and vocal performance from the University of Massachusetts Lowell and a master’s degree from Goldsmiths, University of London, where she studied arts administration and cultural policy. She has held operational and music production roles at the YMCA.
