Administrative: The Cleveland Orchestra

JANE HARGRAFT will join the Cleveland Orchestra as chief development officer in April 2019. She will manage the orchestra’s philanthropy and advancement team and, in partnership with President and and CEO André Gremillet, help guide Board leadership in developing overall fundraising strategy. Her responsibilities will also include national and international philanthropic giving. Originally from Toronto, Canada, Hargraft has been the vice president of development at the Seattle Symphony since 2011. Hargraft began her career in communications with positions in the Ontario government before working as a development officer at York University in Toronto. She served as a development manager at Massey Hall and Roy Thomson Hall, and was director of development of the Canadian Opera Company. In addition, she was general manager of Opera Atelier, a period-opera company. Hargraft graduated with honors from Queen’s University in Ontario with a concentration in political studies (theory).
