The Los Angeles Chamber Orchestra has expanded the role of General Manager KATE KAMMEYER to include serving as artistic administrator. In her new position, Kammeyer will work with Music Director Designate Jaime Martín and LACO’s artistic and staff leadership to develop artistic programming and educational projects. Kammeyer joined LACO in 2016 as orchestra manager and director of community programs; she was promoted to general manager in 2018. Prior to joining LACO, Kammeyer was orchestra manager of the Philadelphia Orchestra. She holds an associate degree from the State University of New York at Purchase, a masters of music from the Hartt School in Connecticut, and a bachelor of music from the University of Iowa, all in oboe performance. She participated in the League of American Orchestras’ Emerging Leaders Program in 2017.

Los Angeles Chamber Orchestra has also announced several promotions. Taylor Lockwood, LACO’s operations and community programs coordinator, has been promoted to operations manager; Brandon Faber, who previously served as individual giving and advancement manager, has been promoted to assistant director of events and sponsorship; Dina-Marie Weineck, who joined LACO as an intern last fall, has been appointed executive assistant and board liaison; and Alana Miles, previously marketing and events assistant, has been promoted to advancement associate.
