The Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra in upstate New York has promoted WENDY DIINA from associate director of development to director of special projects and associate director of development. Diina will add strategic planning and project management for new organizational initiatives to her fundraising responsibilities. Diina started with the Buffalo Philharmonic in 2010 after running the JoAnn Falletta International Guitar Concerto Competition and after serving as director of special events at Buffalo-based PBS station WNED. She is a graduate of Leadership Buffalo, and received her undergraduate degree in communications from State University of New York Fredonia and her master’s degree in arts management from the University at Buffalo.
