The Nashville Symphony has announced that it will perform seven free community concerts at public parks and green spaces throughout Middle Tennessee from June 6 to 26. The first concert, on June 6, will take place at Centennial Park at Musicians Corner, followed by Cumberland University, Lebanon (June 7), Smith Springs Community Center, Antioch (June 8), Two Rivers Mansion, Donelson (June 9), Historic Rock Castle, Hendersonville (June 11), Key Park, Lafayette (June 25), and the Estate at Cherokee Dock, Lebanon (June 26). As in prior years, the orchestra is inviting members of the public to vote on the encore selection for the concert series. The winning selection will be announced on the Nashville Symphony’s social media platforms. The Nashville Symphony’s free community concerts have been a summer tradition since 1974.
