California’s Pacific Symphony will present a semistaged version of The Music Man, the Meredith Willson musical, at Segerstrom Concert Hall on May 31 and June 1, as part of the orchestra’s 2018-19 pops series. Led by Principal Pops Conductor Richard Kaufman, the production will feature a backdrop of projections designed by Sam Geist and Jeffrey A. Margolis, and performers will include Broadway’s Jeremy Stolle as Harold Hill, Elena Shaddow (Marian Paroo), and Aaron Kaburick (Marcellus Washburn), plus a cast of young actors, singers, and musicians from Orange County. Jamibeth Margolis will serve as director of the concert production, with Andrew Wheeler as music director and Kristen Ernst as choreographer.
