On August 31, the Utah Symphony and rock musician Sting will perform together at the USANA Amphitheatre in West Valley City, Utah in a concert celebrating the 100th anniversary of Zion National Park. Rob Mathes will conduct Sting and the orchestra in symphonic arrangements of songs including “Roxanne,” “Every Little Thing She Does Is Magic,” “Fragile,” and “Desert Rose.” Proceeds from the concert will go to the Zion Forever Project to benefit Zion National Park as part of the Park’s centennial celebration. The event is the final 2019 concert of the Utah Symphony’s annual series of outdoor concerts in the Salt Lake City area.
