Cabals & Satires: Mozart’s Comic Operas in Vienna, musicologist Ian Woodfield’s exploration of the early reception of Mozart’s operas in Vienna, is now out from Oxford University Press. Music historian Ted Gioia’s Music: A Subversive History will be published by Basic Books on October 15.
