Henry Timms, president and CEO of Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts and an expert in building digital movements as co-founder of #GivingTuesday, has just been announced as the keynote speaker for the League of American Orchestras’ annual Mid-Winter Managers Meeting. Executive directors and youth orchestra administrators will explore the participatory, peer-driven “new power” of today’s interconnected world and how it affects orchestras. The gathering also provides opportunities to network with orchestra leaders from around the country, hear from experts, share ideas, and learn the latest about what is happening in the orchestra field. The 2020 Mid-Winter Managers Meeting takes place January 25-27 in New York City.

Registration opens in November, so stay tuned for updates. Meanwhile, book your hotel room now to take advantage of the League-negotiated hotel discount of $164/night + tax. Reservations at the Marriott East Side Hotel must be made by January 10, 2020 to secure the special rate.
