The Segerstrom Center for the Arts in Orange County, California has appointed CASEY REITZ as president. Segerstrom Center is home to the Pacific Symphony, Philharmonic Society of Orange County, and Pacific Chorale, and is a presenting, producing, and educational institution. Reitz assumes his new role in December 2019. Since 2010, Reitz has served as executive director of Second Stage Theater in New York City. Reitz was previously director of development of NYC’s Public Theater, which produces shows at a five-theater complex plus the annual Free Shakespeare in Central Park. Other positions have included director of individual giving at the Manhattan Theatre Club and director of development at Actor’s Express in Atlanta. He holds an MFA in theater management from Yale University and a BA in theater from the University of Alabama.
