Orchestras looking to connect young people in their communities with music are invited to join an informational webinar about Carnegie Hall’s free Link Up program on Wednesday, November 20 at 1:00 p.m. EST. Link Up introduces students in grades 3 through 5 to the orchestra through an interactive educational curriculum and concerts. Carnegie Hall provides each partner organization with free materials including a Link Up curriculum guide (with repertoire for singing, playing the soprano recorder or violin, and program-related lesson plans and activities); audio and video resources for students and teachers; concert scripts and visuals; orchestral scores and parts; and an array of support tools. More than a hundred orchestras across the country currently participate in Link Up. To partner with Carnegie Hall and bring Link Up to your community, visit Carnegie Hall’s Link Up site or contact linkup@carnegiehall.org about the webinar.
