Administrators from orchestras of all budget sizes are invited to register for the League of American Orchestras’ Mid-Winter Seminar Strategic Partnerships and Community Engagement: Leveraging Stakeholder Power, Legitimacy, and Urgency, facilitated by Bruce Thibodeau, president and founder of Arts Consulting Group.

Arts and culture organizations often talk about “strategy” in terms of the business model, programs, sales, and fundraising tactics. But aligning stakeholders to participate in and support major strategic initiatives continues to be a challenge for many. This session will focus on understanding three key stakeholder attributes and seven stakeholder classes that can be used to leverage interorganizational partnerships while creating a public dialogue. Participants will gain tools for effective strategic adaptation in an evolving contemporary society.

Strategic Partnerships and Community Engagement: Leveraging Stakeholder Power, Legitimacy, and Urgency takes place Sunday, January 26 from 8 a.m. to noon in New York City and includes a free continental breakfast.
