The Dayton Performing Arts Alliance has announced that PATRICIA McDONALD will serve as interim CEO. She replaces Paul Helfrich, who becomes executive director of Florida’s Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra on February 14, 2020. The Dayton Performing Arts Alliance (DPAA) is the umbrella organization of the Dayton Philharmonic Orchestra, Dayton Ballet, and Dayton Opera. McDonald previously served as interim CEO of the Dayton Society of Natural History, also known as the Boonshoft Museum. Prior to that, she was the market president of KeyBank, a position from which she retired in 2017. In addition to her career in business, McDonald has served on numerous organizational boards, including the board of the Dayton Performing Arts Alliance as well as healthcare and civic nonprofits. The DPAA board of directors will continue to seek a permanent president and CEO.
