Plano Symphony to stream five weeks of Saturday concerts for free

In Texas, the Plano Symphony Orchestra will broadcast several previously performed concerts beginning March 28 at 8 p.m. CT and continuing every Saturday evening through May 5. This includes the subscription concert on March 21 and its School Concerts on March 17, 18, and 19.The inaugural March 28 broadcast will feature an April 28, 2019 concert featuring Music Director Hector Guzman conducting Tchaikovsky’s Symphony No. 5 and Rachmaninoff’s Piano Concerto No. 2 with soloist Yewon Sunwoo. The broadcasts are available for free at the Plano Symphony Orchestra website at planosymphony.org. The Plano Symphony Orchestra’s website states that due to the City of Richardson closing the Eisemann Center and the state of emergency declared by Dallas County, all PSO performances during the month of March have been cancelled.
