The Los Angeles Philharmonic has launched At Home with Gustavo, five hour-long programs that are being broadcast four times a week in English and once a week in Spanish, featuring Music Director Gustavo Dudamel and Classical KUSC radio host Brian Lauritzen. The limited-run series will air locally on KUSC (Los Angeles) and Classical KDFC (San Francisco); nationally through a partnership with PRX; and streamed online at KUSC.org. The series will offer Dudamel’s curated musical selections of some of his favorite recordings, along with his personal reflections on the music and his experience of our current moment as well as conversation between Dudamel and Lauritzen. The first show aired on March 31, at 6 p.m. PT / 9 p.m. ET. The series will continue Tuesdays through Fridays until April 10. Spanish-language programs of At Home with Gustavo will be broadcast on April 5 and 12. For more information visit the LA Phil website and KUSC website.
