The Indianapolis Chamber Orchestra has named DANA STONE as executive director, effective July 6, 2020. Stone goes to the ICO from the Anderson Symphony Orchestra, where she served as executive director since October 2010. A native of Valparaiso, Indiana, Stone was previously the administrative director of Union Avenue Opera in St. Louis, Missouri, administrative director for the St. Louis Women’s Chorale, and provided grant-writing services to other non-profit organizations. Stone maintains a private voice studio at her home. Prior to her work in arts management, Stone performed in several musical-theater productions. Stone holds a bachelor of music degree with a double major in vocal performance and Spanish from DePauw University and a master of music degree from Washington University in St. Louis.
