Lubbock Symphony keeps playing—virtually

“The pandemic is changing the way everyone is doing things,” writes Kelsee Pittman in Wednesday’s (7/22) (TX). “At the Lubbock Symphony Orchestra, they are finding ways to still let the community enjoy music while keeping everyone safe. They are hosting weekly virtual concert series for not only the community to enjoy but also letting the musicians still play.” In the video, Lubbock Symphony President and CEO Galen Wixson discusses how the orchestra is presenting new and previously recorded concerts and conversations online, while in-person concerts are on hold due to the pandemic.
