The New York City-based American Composers Orchestra has announced the appointment of SAMEERA TROESCH as chair of its board of directors. Troesch has been a member of the ACO board since 2018, has served as vice chair since 2019, and is an attorney with Mitsubishi Corporation (Americas). At Mitsubishi, Troesch advises clients on a variety of legal matters; formerly, she was a corporate associate in Sullivan & Cromwell LLP’s New York and London offices. She has served as a patron of various arts organizations in London and New York City. Troesch holds an AB from Harvard College, where she was involved with the Lowell House Opera. In 2019, Troesch attended the Governing for Nonprofit Excellence program at Harvard Business School.

In addition, Samir Nikocevic and Benjamin Hildner have joined the ACO board.
