The Heinz Family Foundation has announced “Breaking Barriers in Classical Music,” a free online discussion with composer Gabriela Lena Frank, on November 18 from 3-4 p.m. ET. Frank, recipient of the 2020 Heinz Award for the Arts and Humanities, will speak with Eric Moe, a professor of music composition and theory at the University of Pittsburgh who is also co-director of the university’s Music on the Edge concert series.
