On December 17 from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. EST, conductor Gustavo Dudamel will stream performances of all nine Beethoven symphonies for free on his YouTube channel. The complete cycle is being streamed in celebration of the Beethoven’s 250th birthday this week and features videos filmed during a series of March 2017 performances with the Simón Bolívar Symphony Orchestra of Venezuela, at the Palau de la Música Catalana in Barcelona, Spain. The videos have not previously been available publicly on social media. The video stream includes performances of the “Egmont” and “Coriolan” overtures in addition to the nine symphonies.
