Canada’s Toronto Symphony Orchestra has announced a weekly series of virtual concerts for older adults through a new partnership with the YMCA of Greater Toronto. The free Monday series, Music with the TSO, is part of the YMCA’s Bright Spot online offerings designed to build community connections and combat social isolation during the pandemic with musical performances. In Music with the TSO, orchestra musicians interact with the virtual audience by answering questions and adding commentary to their music.
