TAYLOR RAMBO has been appointed executive director of the Georgia Symphony Orchestra, based in Marietta, Georgia, effective July 1. Rambo will succeed Susan Stensland, who will retire after fifteen years in the post and join the GSO board of directors. A native of Marietta, Rambo previously served as the major gifts and campaign manager with Arena Stage at the Mead Center for American Theater in Washington, D.C., and has held fundraising and staff positions at the American Pops Orchestra, Washington Ballet, and the Association of Performing Arts Professionals (APAP). For the past few months, he has served as a development consultant with the GSO. Rambo earned a bachelor of music degree in music business and entertainment industries and a master of arts degree in arts presenting and live entertainment management from the Frost School of Music at the University of Miami. He also received a master of business administration degree from the Coles College of Business at Kennesaw State University. He holds professional memberships with APAP and the Association of Fundraising Professionals.
