The Springfield Symphony Orchestra in Missouri has named TERY O’SHELL as development manager. O’Shell previously served as executive director of Sculpture Walk Springfield. Originally from Alabama, O’Shell began her career in marketing and advertising, with clients including the Birmingham Museum of Art and Opera Birmingham. Since then, she has served as director of development at nonprofits including the Birmingham International Center, the Birmingham Zoo, and The Arc of Shelby County, which works to support people with developmental and intellectual disabilities and their families. O’Shell is a graduate of Leadership Shelby County and Leadership Springfield’s Access Class, and is a past member of the National Council of Executives for The Arcs. She is currently a member of the Rotary Club and the Philanthropic Educational Organization.
