Male has performed as a recitalist and soloist in the U.S., Canada, Europe, and Asia. She is the founding cellist of the Lancaster-based Newstead Trio, and in 2012 she founded Duo Chiaroscuro with pianist Maria Corley. Male also collaborates in chamber-music programs with her husband, Peter Kenote, a violist in the New York Philharmonic. In addition to the Lancaster Symphony, Male performs with the Reading Symphony, Kennett Symphony, and Harrisburg Symphony, and is an assistant professor of cello at Franklin & Marshall College and adjunct professor of cello at Elizabethtown College in Pennsylvania.
