MANDY PETERSON-TICE has joined the Alabama Symphony Orchestra as director of development. Peterson-Tice has held fundraising positions at universities including Berry College, University of Mississippi, and Belhaven University. Peterson-Tice, a native of Chickamauga, Georgia, is a classically trained soprano and saxophonist. She received a bachelor of music degree in saxophone performance from Berry College in Georgia, and earned a master’s degree in vocal performance and pedagogy at Mississippi College. She is currently a soprano section leader at St. Mary’s on the Highlands in Birmingham, Alabama. Kimberly King, the ASO’s corporate development and events manager, has been serving as interim director of development, and will continue in her original role with the organization.
