The Oklahoma City Philharmonic has appointed MARK BEUTLER as director of marketing and public relations. Beutler has worked in the Oklahoma City media market for more than 30 years, and has held a variety of roles including reporter at television station OETA and on-air personality at radio station KXXY-FM. He wrote a monthly column, “Retrospective,” for 405 Magazine, was a freelance writer at the Oklahoma Gazette, and served as media spokesperson for the state’s Department of Human Services. Most recently he was director of communications and marketing for the American Cancer Society in Oklahoma City. Beutler has been actively involved in the community; his philanthropic work includes serving on the boards of directors at local organizations including City Rep Theatre ​and volunteering with ​the Special Olympics.
